[Photo Date] Saturday, June 15, 2024 We climbed Mount Hoei from the Fujinomiya Trail before the Fuji Subaru Line road closures. I'd never climbed Mount Fuji before, but The elevation difference from the Fujinomiya Trail's fifth station to Mount Hoei is about 300 meters. We thought we could handle it, but The gravelly climb up the crater wall was tough. Still, the Martian-like scenery and stunning views made for a truly moving mountain climb.
