A Rainy Day at 35 With My Niece in Vietnam

I’m 35, out of work for over two years, and for now I’m staying with my older sister and her family in Vietnam. This is a simple day in my life. It started with rain, leftover rice, and a bowl of fried rice I made for my niece and me. Fried rice is a very ordinary dish in Vietnam, but for me it carries memories of childhood, hunger, family, and the small happiness we used to have with very little. Later in the day, I helped around the house, made a simple meal, and went for a short walk with my niece. She wanted milk tea and a fried doughnut. Nothing big happened that day, but somehow those small moments made life feel a little lighter. This video is not about a perfect life. It is about an ordinary day, a simple meal, and the small reasons that help me keep going. Thank you for watching. #LifeInVietnam #VietnamVlog #StartingOver #VietnameseFood #reallife 00:00 A rainy morning in Vietnam 00:22 Waking up in my sister’s house 00:43 Making fried rice from leftover rice 01:15 A childhood dish many Vietnamese people know 02:58 Breakfast with my niece 04:04 Thinking about life at 35 04:30 Helping around the house 05:06 A simple meal for the rest of the day 06:03 A night walk with my niece 06:35 Milk tea and fried doughnuts 07:21 Small moments that make life lighter 07:33 Walking home
