C'est dingue de trouver Tout ça en plein centre ville ! 80 Ans sous l'eau

We are in the city center in the historic heart of the city of Narbonne. A weapon from the Second World War has been waiting for us for 80 years! A coastal town, Narbonne became a strategic place after the Germans invaded the “free” zone on November 11, 1942, following the Allied landings in North Africa three days earlier. Narbonne will remain occupied until the Liberation of the city, August 19, 1944. During the liberation of the city, the fleeing German soldiers visibly abandoned part of their weapons in the canal which crosses the city. This channel is frequently cleaned but the large quantity of silt has allowed certain objects to remain buried. All our finds are upgraded and weapons that can help solve investigations are handed over to the authorities.
