WE PLANNED TO SAIL SOUTH BUT WE SAIL EAST FIRST - ZAKYNTHOS TO KATAKOLO,

After a beautiful sail to Campi Coves on Zakynthos, we dropped anchor and immediately jumped into the crystal-clear water. The evening rewarded us with a spectacular sunset. The next morning, we launched the dinghi and explore a hidden sea cave before continuing our journey. From there, we sailed south to a quiet bay near a small village by Keri Lake where we spent several relaxing days swimming, provisioning and preparing for the next leg of our voyage. Our plan was head south to the Peleponese. But we prefer to sail to East to Katakolo as the wind is favorable and the leg is only 22 nautical miles. The bay is on the mainland Greece and also a protected shelter to stay and wait for the next weather window to go south. Join us as we sail from Campi Coves, Zakynthos to Katakolo, and discover that sailing is often about patience asmuch as adventure. ⛵️Sailing SOFIA- Life at distant anchorages 🌊 New adventures every week #SailingSOFIA #Zakynthos #CampiCoves #Katakolo #Greekislands #SailingGreece #Liveaboard #Cruisinglife #Sailingadventure #boatlife
