Llegamos a TUCUMÁN! | Estación número 43 🚐🇦🇷

Welcome to Tafí del Valle, a beautiful town in the heart of the Calchaquí Valley. Located in the province of Tucumán, it's definitely worth spending a few days in this town known for its natural beauty, temperate climate, and mountainous landscapes. What to do in Tafí del Valle? Explore El Mollar, its La Angostura dam, and the open-air Los Menhires Museum. Take Provincial Route 325 through the valley to enjoy the trek to the Muñoz Canyon and make a strategic stop at Bar de Don José. And if you enjoy high-altitude trekking, you can take a must-do hike called Sendero El Pelao, which will take you past Cerro de la Cruz. Be aware that it has a certain level of difficulty, so arrive early due to the midday heat and bring water. There are two trails, one 5 km long and the longer one 9 km long. Don't forget to have some Tucuman empanadas for lunch with a beer, and then stroll through some regional restaurants. And to close out the afternoon, enjoy some mate at sunset by the river.
