Building Task Group 77.3 | Sea Power Task Force Mode Begins

Today we are trying out the brand-new Task Force Mode in Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, added in the big Fourth of July update. For the first time, we can play through the Pacific Strike Campaign by creating our own commander and selecting the ships that will make up our campaign task force. In this episode, we form Task Group 77.3, choose the ships that will carry us through the campaign, and take a look at how this new mode changes the way Sea Power is played. Instead of jumping straight into a single mission, we now have to think about force composition, ship roles, air defense, anti-surface capability, ASW coverage, and how our fleet will survive across the campaign.
