From Doubt to Finish Line | My First Marathon Experience SANLAM Cape Town Marathon
On 24 May 2026 I officially became a marathon finisher. 🏅 I took on my very first marathon at the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon and it was one of the toughest, most emotional, and rewarding experiences of my life and my coach. From the early morning nerves, to hitting the wall, to finding the strength to keep moving when my body wanted to quit — this race tested me mentally and physically. Every kilometre came with a lesson, and every cheer from the crowd pushed me forward. Cape Town gave us incredible views, amazing energy, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Crossing that finish line is a moment I’ll never forget. If you’ve ever thought about running a marathon, this is your sign to start. You are capable of more than you think. 🔥 Don’t forget to: Like Comment Subscribe Share your own marathon story below
