The result is a cold dessert with a beautiful two-tone checkerboard, a creamy texture that melts in your mouth, and simple ingredients. It's ideal for the weekend, for an after-dinner treat, or when you want to serve an elegant cold cake in just a few steps and without turning on the oven. COMPLETE RECIPE Ingredients Balanced quantities for a rectangular baking dish Classic Pavesini: 1 packet Cocoa Pavesini: 1 packet Fresh cream for desserts: 400 ml, very cold Mascarpone: 250 g Powdered sugar: 50 g Nutella: 150 g Moisten: cold milk and a dash of coffee to taste Method 1️⃣ In a bowl, soften the mascarpone with the powdered sugar using an electric whisk only to avoid splashes. In another bowl, whip the cream until it is glossy and fluffy. Gradually fold the cream into the mascarpone, stirring gently from the bottom up with a spatula to avoid deflating the mixture. 2️⃣ Line the baking dish with plastic wrap. Quickly dip the Pavesini biscuits in the milk and coffee and arrange them on the bottom, alternating one regular biscuit and one cocoa biscuit, creating a beautiful checkerboard pattern. 3️⃣ Pour the first half of the cream and smooth it out. Heat the Nutella for 30 seconds in the microwave to make it runny and spread it over the cream. Cover with the remaining mascarpone cream. 4️⃣ Close the cake with another layer of alternating two-tone Pavesini biscuits.
