This time, in Episode 2 of our Vientiane trip, we'll take you on a walk through Vientiane, the capital of Laos, from dusk to night! A nostalgic atmosphere that once captivated travelers, much like Bangkok's Khao San Road, still lingers here. The beautiful temples bathed in the magic hour, and the sounds of chanting echoing through the streets, create a fantastical world unique to Laos—a must-see. And at night, we head to our main destination, the Vientiane Food Night Market! It boasts a deep and unique lineup, quite different from Thai night markets. This time, we'll be reviewing local delicacies, including "balut" (called "kai luk" in Lao), a duck egg about to hatch, which is quite rare in Thailand, as well as grilled oysters and local grilled chicken. To finish, we'll enjoy the incredibly impressive "Super-Sized Watermelon Shake," handed to us by a beautiful waitress, featuring two extra-large slices of watermelon.
