As part of the EU's Competitiveness Compass, the European Commission is set to release the highly anticipated #Omnibus Simplification Package on February 26th, 2025. This proposal has sparked discussions about the future of corporate sustainability reporting, with efforts to streamline and reduce reporting requirements. Along with changes to the #CSRD, the #CSDDD and the #EUTaxonomy, this proposal marks a crucial moment for businesses to assess their approach to sustainability reporting.
