This helicopter flight across Scotland takes us on a beautiful journey through breathtaking scenery. Departing Broadford on the Isle of Skye, we follow the rugged coastline, fly beneath the famous Skye Bridge, and pass the Eilean Donan Castle before heading inland through the Highlands. The adventure continues over remote valleys and mountain ridges toward Glenfinnan, home of the world-famous viaduct, before reaching Fort William and climbing the River Nevis valley for an ambitious summit landing attempt on Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. From there, we track along Loch Lochy and the Caledonian Canal, stopping at Fort Augustus before flying the full length of legendary Loch Ness toward Inverness. The journey concludes with a scenic pass over Inverness Castle, under the Kessock Bridge, and a landing at Inverness Airport. Invershiel Follow the River Shiel and climb for about 4 miles turn south to traverse the ranges admire views of the saltwater Loch Beag to our right, and... the freshwater Loch Cuaich to our left (near ORSUM) descend into Glenfinnan and enjoy the Glenfinnan Viaduct (it has an invisible surface to land on0zEE follow the railway east along Loch Eil Fort William climb and follow the River Nevis to the southeast land on the summit of Ben Nevis (4,413ft) head north and descend to meet Loch Lochy follow the powerline northeast as we proceed along the Caledonian Canal EGVZ - Fort Augustus Airstrip follow the world-famous Loch Ness and River Ness (will we see Nessie?!) admire Inverness Castle continue along the river to Kessock Bridge EGPE - Inverness (finish at the north apron) 🎮 Aircraft: Any helicopter capable of cruising at 110 knots.
