Analysing Similes & Metaphors in Narrative Comprehension | LilButMightyEnglish.com
In today’s video, we will be taking a closer look at one such question type in greater detail: the Language Use for Impact question. This question type will require you to analyse various literary devices used in Narrative Comprehension, and explain why the writer has chosen to include them. Usually, the writer uses a literary device to emphasise something about the story. It is up to you to identify what this ‘something’ is! Now, as you can be tested on a large number of literary devices, there are just too many for me to cover in one video. So today, we will focus on learning how to analyse two of them: similes and metaphors! Check out the 5 Types of Narrative Comprehension Questions video that was mentioned here: https://lilbutmightyenglish.com/blog/... ✅ Subscribe To Channel For more content on English education for Primary and Secondary school children: / @lilbutmightyenglish ✅ Stay Connected With Us: 👉 Instagram: / lilbutmightyenglish 👉 Facebook: / lilbutmightyenglish 👉 Website: https://lilbutmightyenglish.com/ 👉 LinkedIn: / lilbutmightyenglish ✅ For Business Inquiries: [email protected] ============================== ✅ Recommended Playlists: 👉 Creative Writing: • Let’s Paint a Vivid Picture - How to Use t... 👉 Ketchup On English: • Ketchup on English: Book Recommendation - ... 👉 Grammar: • Practice or Practise?
