I just returned from the 2024 Old Car Festival which in my humble opinion is the greatest car show on the planet earth. The show is held at Greenfield Village inside The Henry Ford Museum which is located in Dearborn, Michigan. Each September over 850 rare and vintage antique automobiles gather on the streets and lawn of the village for visitors and like minded car enthusiasts to see. An estimated 25% of the cars in attendance were Ford Model A cars that ranged from, coupes, roadsters, phaetons, pickups, tow trucks, AA trucks, pickups, hucksters, speedsters, Tudors, Fordors, original unrestored, and restored. Nearly 5 million cars were produced between 1928 and 1931 by the Ford Motor Company, making it a very easy antique auto to acquire. The Model A Ford is an affordable antique car that you can easily work on, find just about any part you need, and restore it as you feel fit to. It is also easy and fun to drive, but most of all, it is affordable to own. I cover all of those aspects in this video as we look at some of the cars I saw at Old Car Festival.
