At the 2025 Old Car Festival, I sat down with the owner of one of the most well-traveled Model A’s you’ll ever see — and its story is almost unbelievable. It began abandoned in a field in Argentina. From there, the car made its way to Florida, where a previous owner carefully restored it and converted it from right-hand drive to left-hand drive, giving it a new life on American roads. Later, it passed to his son in California… where the current owner discovered it and made a bold decision — he brought it overseas to England. There, this American classic took on an entirely new role: serving as a wedding limousine, carrying brides and grooms on one of the most important days of their lives. After 25 years abroad, the owner relocated back to the United States — and the Model A came with him. Today, it continues its story on American soil once again.
