When You Don’t Feel Ready for Today / Morning Prayer

When you do not feel ready for today, God is already there. If you woke up feeling unprepared for what this day may require, this morning prayer is for you. Maybe there is a conversation you do not feel ready to have, a decision you wish you did not have to make, a responsibility waiting for you, or a quiet fear sitting at the edge of your morning. You do not have to pretend to be brave before God. You do not have to force yourself to feel ready before you come to Him. This prayer is a quiet place to bring your fear, your hesitation, your uncertainty, and your need for courage into the presence of God. In this prayer, we ask God to go with us into the real day ahead. Not the perfect version of the day, but the actual one. The one with the hard thing in it.
