Surrounded by Garfish in Cowell | South Australia

We trek down to Cowell in South Oz for a few nights to get a bit of rod building done while the wind was up and check out the area. The wind finally lets up enough for us to get the dinghy out and into some of the local Garfish. Whiting was the target species but soon found myself surrounded by a huge school, grabbed enough for a feed and left them biting. Can you even say you are a fisherman in S.A. without getting into the Garfish? Every time I say Simo you must also take a drink!
