Wet Season Cattle Station Caretaking | Landlocked and Flooding

The wet season rolls in and, just like that… everything starts to slow down. In this one, we’re making the most of the dry gaps while we still can — ticking off a few jobs around the property and hunkering down with inside jobs once the rain hits. We get our first proper rain and the country starts to change quickly. You can feel that shift into wet season life out here on the station. There’s also a good arvo break in the weather, so we fire up the pit for a roast, and not long after that, Kel's eagle eye spotting ends up with Jed lining up a decent boar right near the house! Just a bit of real, day-to-day life as the season turns. Thanks for watching! https://www.oldmateadventures.au - sign up for upcoming blog posts, fishing rigs, raffle info, and product discounts.
