Vibe Code App 12: AWS IoT Core + Python Fault Detection Equations — Part 4

Vibe Code App 12 — Continued This episode dives into even more mega updates. The biggest change: the UI is now built in React instead of vanilla JavaScript, and it is being served through the AWS Lambda web handler. The project is also now integrated with the local edge server that hosts Ansible for AI-assisted setup, deployment, and maintenance of the IoT edge device, web app, and API. At this point, Vibe Code App 12 is turning into a complete model-context playground for anyone who wants to customize the web app, fault detection code, data model, and edge-to-cloud pipeline with AI assistance. Cursor AI IDE, Codex CLI, Claude, Hermes, OpenClaw — it does not really matter. Bring your favorite AI coding workflow and make it your own. This is becoming a full AI-assisted HVAC FDD application stack: edge BACnet data collection, AWS IoT Core, custom web dashboards, Python fault detection rules, semantic data modeling, and AI-assisted development workflows all coming together in one open-source playground. I also now have a JCI FEC controller running on a test bench, so more real BACnet device testing is coming. The next major lift will be bringing this into a live HVAC system very soon. Stay tuned.
