Can a Christian have demons? Any Christian can have everything he wants. Why can a Christian do everything he wants? Because he has free will. Because he has forgotten what God wants. Components of the human being: Man is a trinity: body, soul and spirit. The God of the Bible created man from 3 parts: 1. The body - devices, systems, organs 2. The soul - reason, will, feelings 3. The spirit - intuition, conscience, communication Ephesians 2:1 - You were dead in your trespasses and sins. The original Hebrew says: dying, you will die. The spirit of man was dead. The soul was alive, the body was alive. At the moment of being born again, man is made a new creature in his spirit. The soul and body of man are not renewed at the moment of being born again. The spiritual battle that we fight is: spiritual, personal, daily. Being a Christian does not mean being exempt from the fight! The spiritual battle has to do with all the components of man: spirit soul and body. Verses that speak of the 3 components of man: 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 4:12, Genesis 2:7 ruach - spirit nephesh - soul gesem - body 1. The body - the court of the temple of God. Its faculties are the 5 senses: hearing, sight, touch, perception, smell. Your body is of inestimable value. It enjoys the architecture of God. 2. The Soul: the Holy Place of God’s Temple The soul gives man personality, self-awareness, rationality, and natural senses. The mind is part of the soul and includes the will and emotions. The soul includes the mind, will, and emotions. How important is it for me to take care of the component parts, according to the degree of importance that God has made them? In the soul, man experiences the burning arrows of the enemy. There are 3 sources of thoughts that come into our minds: human, demonic, and God. The greatest battle is at the level of the soul, more precisely in our mind (reason)! The lever that opens or closes the door of thoughts is with you! Control your mind! The ability to analyze our mind is very important! Our mind must be transformed, while it is in a place of safety! Mind-watching is something that must be constant (see the example of Peter who within minutes made two totally opposite statements). The mind must be renewed. The carnal mind must be crucified. Any image or thought that rises against Christ must be cast out! If we really value the change of our mind, things will change radically. 3. The Spirit - the Holy of Holies God comes to dwell in the temple - in the temples made by Him - people. God has chosen to dwell in us - in the holy of holies (the spirit of man). The spirit serves God. The soul serves the spirit. The body serves the soul. Go all the way! You, not Christ. Christ has already done his part! The spiritual world can only be addressed with the world of God! Stop licking your wounds. No one can do the work for you. Do your part! The plug that hinders your growth is your lack of prayer, of word, of commitment. Remove the plug so that you can be filled!
