Norton Commando Engine Rebuild. Part 35: Fitting the Gearbox Sprocket
This video is part of a series covering the full strip down and rebuild of a MKII 850 Norton Commando engine. This particular video shows the Gearbox mainshaft oil seal being fitted, followed by the gearbox sprocket. The gearbox sprocket is then torqued up to 80 ft lbs by locking putting an old rear chain on the sprocket which is then held in a bench vice - this allows the sprocket nut to be tightened fully on the bench,
