Therapist Reacts to Fear- NF

NF's "Fear" opens with him giving into the same darkness he swore he'd locked out for good. And by the end, that surrender shifts into something else entirely: a desperate, searching surrender to God. As a therapist, I couldn't stop thinking about that arc. Because surrender isn't optional. We're always surrendering to something. The question is never whether you'll give in, it's what you'll give in to. In this reaction, we talk about: The shame spiral of relapsing into an old pattern after you thought you'd outgrown it What it means when fear convinces you that you have no choice — and why that's a lie The difference between surrendering to what's familiar and surrendering to something bigger than yourself If this resonates and you want support working through your own version of this, I have a few coaching spots open — link below. I also write more about this on Substack. Like & subscribe if you felt this one. Let's talk about it in the comments — what are you surrendering to right now?
