SX-10 Rolled Toe
Dave Farley, CF APF-I does a basic rolled toe modification on this SX-10 shoe in a recent session at the FootPro™ Shop. This can be a useful modification for horses that are showing stress in the toe area due to excess toe length or conformational issues. This is a modification that does not always need to be centered either. Some horses will need the roll either to the medial or lateral side of the toe, depending on their natural breakover path. The key is to develop the skill and the thinking to make the decision and the modification. The 3/8" thickness of the SX-10 allows you to get maximum results with this and many other modifications.
