Frame arrangement at “La Niña” - (6/17/26)

I don’t understand why they have remained in the area where the cluster ended after winter. So many empty frames and undrawn ones, with no bee coverage over most of them but some invaders like cockroaches and some beetles. I was mistaken about saying SHB, this fellas were bigger, it’s the regular tiny beetle you find in gardens and such. That said, I rearranged the frames in both boxes to promote them to use the empty space to lay and store resources. I started feeding them two (2) thirty two (32) ounce jars with 1:1 sugar water (approx.) and will keep an eye on the daily intake. Makes me wonder why the “mother hive” of Split #2 it’s behaving pretty much the same way, somewhat of low number of bees, not much resources and the misuse of space and lack of drawn comb. Maybe was the extra space of the super, but why the split it’s lacking bee coverage and drawn comb without knowing what a super is? High mite count? Formic pro killed the queen and failed on the mite count? OAV too on the split? #beekeeper #beekeeping #honeybeesting #beelife #spring #hives #beevideo #honeybee #inspection #space #cockroach #beetle
