María Pollitzer expone "Sobre la Libertad" de John Stuart Mill

On Liberty is perhaps one of John Stuart Mill's most important works. In this book, the author presents his fundamental ideas on the limits of individual and societal freedom, addressing broad topics such as freedom of thought and expression, the limits of society's authority over the individual, individuality as an element of well-being, freedom in educational systems, human vices, divorce, and suicide. This work will be presented by María Pollitzer, a graduate in History and PhD in Social Sciences from the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA). She teaches General History at UNSAM and also lectures at the Catholic University of Argentina and Torcuato Di Tella University. Her research focuses on 19th-century liberal political thought and representative government in Argentina between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
