How I Power My LVAD While Camping
While waiting for a heart transplant, my heart is supported by an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device). One of the questions I get asked most often is how I safely power it while camping, especially when I'm away from electrical hookups. In this video, I walk through the battery setup I use, how I plan ahead, and what gives me peace of mind when spending time outdoors. Camping has become one of the ways I continue living life while I wait, and I hope this video helps answer a question that some people might be curious about. Thanks for watching, and welcome to Life After Maybe.
