After travelling Argentina for 1 month we thought we'd already seen the best... Northern Argentina had different ideas. Driving this constantly changing and stunning landscape was a road trip unlike any other — somewhere we will never forget. The mountains shifted from multi-coloured, to green, to deep red as we made our way through one of the most scenic drives in all of Argentina. And the hidden gems? We stumbled across an unmarked red rock formation on the road to Cafayate — no signs, no crowds, not even a pin on the map. Just one of those moments you can't plan for. We started our Northern Argentina road trip in Purmamarca, in the heart of Jujuy province, before heading to the Salt Flats at Salinas Grandes, then wound our way down to Cafayate.
