SERNIC SAYS IT WILL VISIT SEVERAL PRISONS Approximately 30 cell phones were seized this Wednesday morning by the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC) at the Machava Maximum Security Penitentiary. In addition to the cell phones, authorities seized SIM cards, electronic cigarettes, wireless headphones, chargers, and various other materials. SERNIC spokesperson Hilário Lole stated that other prisons will be targeted for visits by the agency.
