ATTRAVERSIAMO LE DOLOMITI IN BIKEPACKING
In this video, we'll tell you about a two-day bikepacking trip in the Dolomites, 375 km with a 5,600-meter elevation gain. DAY 1. Departing from Vicenza, we headed towards Bassano del Grappa, Lago di Corlo, and Fonzaso. WARNING: On the secondary road/cycle path that avoids the tunnels before Fiera di Primiero, at approximately km 94, we took the last stretch of the cycle path, but it was blocked right at the end. The only option, at approximately km 94, was to go through the tunnel. Please be careful and check with local authorities for alternative routes. Upon reaching Fiera di Primiero, we ascended the Cereda Pass and descended to Agordo. WARNING: Between Agordo and Alleghe, on the cycle path, we encountered a large landslide that we could not pass. At approximately km 143, keep to the left. From Alleghe, we reach Caprile on a paved bike path and then the Fedaia Pass. We descend to Penìa, where we camped. DAY 2. Departing from Penìa, we descend slightly to Canazei, where we join the Val di Fassa bike path, which we follow to Predazzo (passing through Moena). We then take the Val di Fiemme bike path to Molina di Fiemme and climb to the Manghen Pass. We descend to Telve Valsugana and, following the Valsugana bike path, return to Bassano del Grappa. The route continues on flat secondary roads to Vicenza.
