Spearfishing the Most Dangerous Diving Destination on Earth (Komodo)

They say current equals fish. So I flew to Komodo National Park, one of the most dangerous diving destinations on Earth, to find out if it was true. Komodo sits between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Every day, massive amounts of water are forced through narrow channels, creating powerful currents, incredible reefs, giant schools of fish, manta rays, whale sharks, and some of the most challenging diving conditions in the world. What started as a spearfishing trip quickly turned into something much bigger. Over the course of this adventure I crossed Indonesia on a liveaboard, hunted snapper, bonito, grouper, and Spanish mackerel, explored remote islands around Flores, encountered whale sharks at sunrise, visited Komodo dragons, and witnessed some of the healthiest reefs I've ever seen.
