Talking About The Rolex Submariner 5513 L series Glossy Dial Watch. This watch is often referred to as a transitional Submariner due to the white gold hour marker surrounds and the continued use of domed acrylic crystal. The L serial number is the last 5513 made and was released in 1989 after the 5513 had been in production for over 20 years. It represents the end of an era for Rolex in some respects. I was lucky to find this piece as the original owner only wore it a handful of times before storing it for over 20 years. The markers are evenly fade to a nice cream color that will only get better as time goes on. The over all condition of the watch is amazing for it's age.
