Geisha and Maiko in the gion of Kyoto Japan. New Year Greeting day.
Every year on 7th January. Lots of geisha and maiko in the street of gion area. Also there are many fans and tourists. Geisha and maiko paid traditional courtesy visits to neighborhood around the "kagai" entertainment area in Kyoto to give a new year greetings . I took a video Geisha and Maiko (apprentice geisha) with my rx100m4 and a7s. Geisha called Geiko in Kyoto. and Maiko is an apprentice geisha.
