京都祇園　事始め2025　Kyoto Gion Kotohajime

撮影2025.12.13 京都祇園「事始め（ことはじめ）」とは、毎年12月13日に行われる、祇園の花街（祇園甲部・宮川町など）での年中行事です。 この日は、芸舞妓さんやお茶屋、置屋、関係者がそろって、一年の稽古や芸事の始まり・締めくくりをけじめとして祝う日とされています。 もともとは江戸時代から続く風習「事を始めるのに良い日」とされる12月13日に芸事の精進を誓い 一年の感謝を伝えるという意味が込められています Kyoto's Gion "Kotohajime" is an annual event held every year on December 13th in the Gion entertainment district (Gion Kobu, Miyagawacho, etc.). On this day, geisha and maiko, teahouses, okiya (houses), and related parties gather together to celebrate the beginning and end of a year's training and performing arts.
