Basic supplies: Fabric (cottons and linens are good for embroidery) Embroidery thread (I use DMC – other quality brands include Anchor, Madeira, Gutermann and Sulky). Needle: regular sewing and embroidery needles are both fine for this project Scissors Embroidery hoop: the default size for this design is a 6” embroidery hoop, but it depends what size you want to work with. Optional supplies: Blue fabric marker pen Stick and stitch paper Stitch the design however you like.
