Super Topsky DLG Climbs thermal to 400m at Vang Vieng

The repaired Super Topsky II is back in the air hunting thermals. The dry rice fields between the spectacular Karst limestone cliffs of Vang Vieng in Laos produce some awesome clear air thermals. It took me a while to find the core of this one, but (as is so often the case), once hooked it just got bigger and faster the higher I climbed. By the time I bailed out at 400m altitude it was climbing at 3m/s. Altitude data was recorded with an Altis Micro altimeter.
