Cuxhaven mit dem Wohnmobil - muss es die "Platte" sein oder gibt es Alternativen?

Have I found an alternative to the "Platte" (a local landmark) in Cuxhaven? The Messeplatz parking area is very close to the famous Kugelbake (a navigational beacon). Okay, you can't see the ships directly from your car, but you have a short walk to the Kugelbake and thus the entrance to the Elbe River – there's always something to see there. But of course, I also stopped by the "Platte" and tried out, among other things, the "Sturmflut" restaurant. I love consciously spending money in the local community after a peaceful night. The small, free parking area in Harpstedt was perfect for one night – and breakfast at the local bakery was even better. My tip: Support your local bakeries – it's ALWAYS worth it. Then I continued on towards Cuxhaven. And shortly before reaching it, the oil level sensor started acting up and, even after adding a liter, remained stuck at only 3 out of 5 bars… even though the dipstick indicated otherwise. The end result: The sensor must have been crooked – just as I suspected. Arriving in Cuxhaven, the display showed a full oil level 😅 By the way, I change the oil annually at around 10,000–15,000 km. Cuxhaven then presented itself as autumnal, less crowded than usual, sunny, and simply beautiful.
