The Secret of a Temazcal ceremony | How is it?

After 8 weeks in Oaxaca it was time for us to get back on the road through Mexico. First of all we wanted to go to Zipolite beach. But on the way, there was something very special waiting for us. We got the hint that you can make a Temazcal ceremony in the mountains. The Secret of a Temazcal ceremony is kind of steam bath, but the Temazcal has been used for centuries rather for therapeutic purposes and to cure diseases. After a day's journey, we arrived in the town of San Jose del Pacifico and contacted Layo, the ceremony master. How the Temazcal looks like and how it is done you can see in the video. Have fun!
