After deciding to move into a tiny home, we faced a huge challenge: we had just 6 weeks to downsize an entire household before our lease ended. With decades of possessions, emotional attachments, and a very short timeline, we quickly realized we needed a simple plan. We made the decision early on to donate, give away, or discard items rather than spend time trying to sell them. In this video, I share how we approached downsizing, what made the process so challenging, how we handled furniture that wouldn’t fit in a tiny home, and the lessons we learned along the way.
