Juan José Hernández Rey- Los neutrinos en Astrofísica y Cosmología
This conference, organized by the Ramón Areces Foundation and the Institute of Corpuscular Physics (IFIC), will offer a comprehensive overview of current knowledge about neutrinos, with particular emphasis on their use as an exploratory tool in astrophysics and cosmology. Time will also be dedicated to historical aspects, as there are profound lessons to be learned from the history of neutrinos. Juan José Hernández Rey is a research professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at the Institute of Corpuscular Physics, a joint center of the University of Valencia and the CSIC. His area of study is particle and astroparticle physics. His research in particle accelerator experiments has encompassed studies of particles with heavy quarks, the Z boson, and the search for supersymmetric particles. He has also worked on the construction and operation of neutrino telescopes.
