We Found A Bunch of Artifacts From the 1950s! Exploring the Abandoned Apollo Mine (Part 3 of 3)
Support me on Patreon! / minesofthewest In the final part of the Apollo Mine series, we delve into the deepest reaches of this large mine. Unsurprisingly, the deepest workings were also the ones most recently worked. Consequently, we found loads of artifacts from the 1940's and 1950's which is the time period in which the lower levels were in operation. I'm guessing that we stumbled upon the miner's break room because the artifacts we found were mostly food related. The lower levels weren't particularly extensive, but seemed to be packed with interesting features. After 7 long hours underground, we finally found the end of the mine at the 700 level. At this point, we were actually a bit relieved to have found the end. Although, the 700 ft. climb out was not a walk in the park... I hope you enjoyed the series. I hope to release a new video in no more than two weeks! #minesofthewest #urbex #abandonedmine #mineexploring #abandoned #mining #exploring #desert #travel #history #adit #shaft #underground #minerals #silvermine #goldmine #exploringabandonedmines
