Coronation Butter Beans, Spicy & Quick - NO COOKING required! Richard and Paul Cook Ep 33, July 2026

Inspired by Coronation Chicken, this spicy dish which doesn't require any cooking is easy to put together and served cold, making it an ideal summer food especially if you fancy something spicy without using the stove! Ingredients 425g tin of butter beans, drained and half mashed (about 225g) 2-3 tsp mild curry powder, to taste 1 tsp ground turmeric ½ tsp ground cinnamon 2 tbsp sultanas, raisins or apricots pieces 1 tbsp of flaked almonds Juice of half a lemon 3 tbsp mayonnaise 2 tbsp greek yogurt 2 tbsp mango chutney In this food podcast series, we talk about a dish or a meal that has significance in our lives, then we go into the kitchen and cook the dish from scratch together and eat the results at the dining table.
