For almost an hour, the chicks were carefully taken out of the nest to conduct scientific research and help study the migrations of white storks. Ornithologist Vitaliy Kazannyk performed all the necessary procedures: 🏷️ each stork received two rings - metal and colored; 🧬 genetic material was selected for further research; 📏 body weight, wing length, beak and other important indicators were measured. All manipulations were carried out quickly, professionally and with maximum care to minimize stress for the birds.
