Heater Circuit Conversion to Socket Outlets + RCBO Upgrade & Bathroom Cabinet Replacement

In this video I carry out a domestic electrical alteration involving the removal of 4 fixed convector/storage heaters that were supplied from a dedicated circuit. The existing switched spur isolators were removed and replaced with single socket outlets, converting the circuit from fixed heating loads to socket outlet use. As part of the alteration, the protective device was upgraded from a MCB to a RCBO to provide additional protection, which is required for socket outlet circuits under current regulations. The video also includes the removal of an existing bathroom cabinet and installation of a larger replacement unit. Works covered: • Removal of 4 convector/storage heaters • Removal of existing switched spur isolators • Conversion of outlets to single socket outlets • Upgrade of protective device from MCB to RCBO • Removal and replacement of bathroom cabinet
