EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 1992 - My Top 23 (With comments)
As mentioned a while ago, my goal is to go back and make rankings on past years of Eurovision, with 1992 being up next! The 1992 contest of Eurovision took place in the Swedish city of Malmö, which later became host city for Eurovision again in 2013 and now 2024. A total of 23 countries competed this year, one more than the year prior. The 1992 contest was won by Ireland, achieving a fourth victory with Linda Martin's "Why Me", a song written by two-time winner Johnny Logan. The United Kingdom finished in 2nd place with Michael Ball's "One Step Out Of Time". Third place was achieved by Malta with Mary Spiteri's "Little Child", a record result for Malta until 2002. This year we saw no countries being relegated. Instead, from their regulation the year prior, the Netherlands returned to the contest again. #eurovision #eurovision2023 #esc2023 #lindamartin #whyme #malmö #ireland #sweden #songfestival
