The Orobas Eurorack Vacuum Tube VCA isn't just for your modular setup. In this clip, we send a guitar track recorded dry to the DAW into the Orobas for further treatment... and torture, of course. Only appropriate, since the 6SJ7 metal can pentode tube the Orobas uses was the basis of the tube guitar amps that partly inspired the module. Note: we do not recommend the Orobas as a guitar input stage for Eurorack. While it does work, we feel that better results are achieved when feeding it from a low impedance source. A buffer will go a LONG way, and an additional gain stage will make the module breathe fire! No further effects or post-processing in the DAW.
