Topic 7: Attributed of a Muslim political leader Pt. 1 The sad events of the genocide in Gaza has engaged the Umma with the politics that have passively enabled it. This reading of Mufti Taqi Usmani's book "Islam & politics" is an attempt to remove my and other's ignorance of this aspect of Islam and hopefully engage in politics with an Islamic ethos. This text maybe limited in providing answers to Muslim engaged in political discourse as minorities e.g. for Muslims in Australia in parliamentary democracy. However, it is better starting point than pure emotions or simply doing politics for politics' sake.
