He holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration and a BA in Economics from the same university. He also studied Political Science at the UNED (National University of Education). He has written several specialized monographs, research articles, and reviews that have been published in leading academic journals in his field. He is also a member of the faculty of the Juan de Mariana Institute's Summer University and a visiting professor at Francisco Marroquín University.
