SA Navy in a state of disrepair: Vice Admiral Monde Lobese
The Chief of the South African Navy, Vice Admiral Monde Lobese, says the state of disrepair of the organisation is to the detriment of the country. He says the SANDF is vital and a vehicle for advancing the foreign policy of South Africa. Speaking at the Chief of the Navy Medal Parade at Simon's Town in Cape Town, he said the country needs a stronger defence force and asked members of the organisation to keep excelling as they do despite the challenges.
