"Why Are You Filming Here? Do You Have Permission Here?"

Today's installment brings me back to the Fountain Valley USPS, where I once again exercised my right to record in public spaces of the property. I had a couple of main points of contact. The first one came from an elderly guy who began honking his horn, which got my attention. When I looked over at him across the parking lot, he began waving his arm at me in the car to not record him. When he got out, he covered his face with his newspaper & began yelling at me that I had no right to record him & that I had to get outta there. After he kept circling around a van in the parking lot to avoid being recorded, he said he was going to call police. He finally went inside. When I went in a few minutes later to see if he was causing a commotion, he once again began yelling for me to get outta here. I shushed him & told him there was no need to be so loud. I went back outside & quite a bit of time passed until he finally emerged outside once again , got in his car, and left without further incident. The next encounter i had was from another guy who had just returned to his vehicle from conducting his business inside. I noticed he was giving a cam back from inside his car. He got out and approached me with an attitude, wanting to know if I had permission to be recording. He went to using some choice words when he wasn't intimidating me with his line of questioning, then went inside to complain to the desk clerk, who didn't have any answers for him as to why I was recording. I suggested to him that he read Poster 7 as that would explain photography recording rights on postal property. After using some more choice words for me as he exited. I went outside to document his license plate. He opened his car door again, now asking if I wanted a piece of him. I told him that I didn't want any part of him as he's not my type🤣 He said it was mutual combat & I told him no, it wasn't because I wasn't seeking a confrontation as I'm a lover, not a fighter & suggested he do the same. he then got in his car & also drove away in a huff. Thank you for taking time out of you r day to watch this installment & I invite you to leave your comments below with your thoughts on this one!
