Valve's Steam Machine is too expensive considering the RX 6600 to RTX 5050-level of performance, but as a positive, the company has applied its Deck and Controller philosophy of making a highly repairable device. The Steam Machine has QR codes, clear labels, plain English text, numbers, and color codes scattered throughout the device in a way that makes it easier to take apart. Accessing the memory, such as to upgrade the RAM or enshrine the single stick you get in the gold that its value equals, is mostly easy except for some cables secured by (unfortunately) glue to the finstack.
