Im Winter mit dem Seawave am Wolfgangsee (4K)

On the second weekend of January 2020, I met up with Klaus and we paddled Lake Wolfgangsee for two days with our Gumotex Seawave kayaks. I arrived on Friday evening, and Klaus joined us on Saturday morning. It rained heavily during the night, and we set up our inflatable kayaks in a light rain at an air temperature of 3 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, the rain stopped as soon as we were on the water, but the clouds hung very low all day. For this day, we chose the east side and headed counterclockwise from St. Wolfgang toward Strobl and back again via the Zinkenbach stream. On Sunday, we had bright sunshine, but the temperature was -1 degrees Celsius. The sun did, however, warm us up nicely, and we had a great trip past the Falkensteiner Wand, the Hochzeitskreuz (Wedding Cross), and the Ochsenkreuz (Ox Cross) toward St. Gilgen.
